Good weekend for Flint youngsters

Flint U14s played at home against Oldershaw. After observing 2 minutes silence at 11am the match kicked off and Flint dominated play from the very start.

In the first half Tom Rowlands scored 3 tries, Tom Priddich 1 try, Tom Burke 1 try, Tomos Hughes 1 try, Gwyn Jones 1 try. Conversions were scored by Billy Forrester ( 1 ) Owen Jones ( 1 ) and Sam Parry ( 1 ). At half time the score was Flint 41 Oldershaw 0. In the second half the weather was appalling with cold winds and heavy rain. Flint played much of the second half with the newer members of the squad rotating players into different positions. Oldershaw fought back and scored a converted try. Tom Rowlands scored one more making the final score Flint 46 Oldershaw 7.

Flint U11s

Flint U11s travelled to Llandudno to play their best game of the season so far with Jack Goss scoring 2 tries, Jack Reed 2 tries, Leon De Bore 1 try and Connor Wilcox 1 try. Jack Goss scored 5 conversions making the final score Flint 40 Llandudno 35.
