Jenny Doyle, from Holywell, has been called up to play for Wales Ladies against Canada on Friday.
The Bath Ladies back row will make her first start for the national team after three seasons of impressive performance with her club side.
Jenny said: “I am really excited about being picked by my country and hope to make everyone proud of me.�
