Wrexham rugby club chalked up another two wins at the weekend

WREXHAM YOUTH 12 LLANDUDNO YOUTH 7

Wrexham Youth Team had to overcome a 0-7 deficit to outpoint visitors Llandudno and secure a much needed 12-7 win in Division One of the North Wales Youth League. The home side fought back with an unconverted try by number eight Troy Roberts, easily their Man of the Match, and then another touchdown in the second-half by centre Sam Wright, converted by scrum-half Kieran Morris. Coach Ian Morris was impressed with his team’s excellent discipline in difficult circumstances and also another good performance from flanker Rob Moore.

WREXHAM 2NDS 30 FLINT 2NDS 0

Wrexham Seconds whitewashed visitors Flint Seconds by 30-0 to maintain their unbeaten run in Division ‘A’ of the North East Wales Championship. Tries came from number eight Carl Turner, centres John Darlington and James Jess, wings Adam Jones and Iorwerth Gregory, and Man of the Match lock Darrell Hughes. Unusually, there were no conversions in difficult windy conditions.
